Overview of Capabilities

WMI SimDis can read and process both single-channel (e.g. FID, SCD, PFPD) and multi-channel (e.g. GC-AED) Agilent Technologies ChemStation data files.
D2887 SimDis calculations for up to 8 element signals.
Display results graphically or in a tabulated columnar format.
Several report formats including engineering reports (% Yield), signature reports (element signals), and calibration reports.
Export chromatographic data and the SimDis results to text files (comma or tab delimited) for use in spreadsheets or for transfer to LIMS.
Batch processing capability to generate reports for multiple data files.

Key Features

Solvent Masking (interpolated mask, mask to zero, and mask to value).
Multiple modes of baseline zeroing (subtract blank, zero to minimum, D2887 sampled baseline).
Filtering/smoothing of noisy chromatograms (Savitzky-Golay, Gaussian, and wavelet).
AED backamount can be adjusted on each element channel.
The QC Reference sample can be used to generate calibrated response for element channels.

Data File Formats Supported: All Agilent Technologies GC ChemStation data file formats including both the 16-bit (version A.04 and later) and 32-bit (version B.00 and later) ChemStations.

Hardware: 5 MB free hard disk space Minimum 32 MB RAM Recommended 64 MB RAM)

Display: Minimum 800 x 600 resolution, High Color (16 bit); Recommended 1024 x 768 True Color (24 bit)

Evaluate WMI SimDis

A fully-functional 10-day evaluation version of the SimDis software is available from WMI. If you decide to purchase the software after your evaluation, you will be sent an "unlock" code that will convert your evaluation copy into a fully-licensed copy.

Choose the version of WMI SimDis that meets your needs:

WMI SimDis Dual Channel (DCS): Can process one or two channels of signal data from an Agilent Technologies GC or AED ChemStation data file. Choose this version for conventional FID SimDis or for applications requiring a maximum of two channels of signal data (for example, FID + SCD or AED Carbon + Sulfur).

WMI SimDis Universal: Can process more than 2 channels of signal data from an Agilent Technologies GC or AED ChemStation data file. Choose this version if you need to process more than two channels of signal data (e.g. AED Carbon + Sulfur + Nitrogen).
