The SUI Configuration Editor

The Simplified User Interface includes a sophisticated configuration editor that is used to create the SUI dialog box that is displayed by the ChemStation, and each of the "buttons" that are presented to the operator.

The main SUI configuration screen allows you to set general options such as the caption displayed on the SUI dialog box.

Each button that is displayed on the main SUI dialog box is also defined using the configuration editor:

The SUI Button Editor

The SUI button editor is used to set the configuration for each individual button. The button editor allows you to define the button caption, the sequence file that will be run when the button is pressed, as well as the sample information and method prompts that the operator will see when Sample Information Wizard is displayed.
